16 1/2 hours later...

It has been a good fight. The Paperwork took several mortal blows but still stands if for nothing else, then out of shear spite. I too have taken my hits. We know each other well, the paperwork and I, but every battle makes me stronger...faster..deadlier. The paperwork and I have mutualy agreed to a temporary truce and will hold off further hostilities until Monday morning.

again!?

Remember how the network was running slow this morning....well...yep. It's doing it again.argargarg.

6:50 pm

Just as I was the first here today, I am now the last. My fight is not over yet. THE fight...is not....over.........yet.

Ok fine.

Ok. So I didn't leave work yet. I don't really have a buzz, and I know I'm tired or atleast "tired" is right around the corner waiting to pounce on me, but I'm stuck in one of those great/cursed opportunities where the heavens have aligned and everything is organized and could be easily taken care of...if you did it all right now. I know that if I was to walk away from this stack of stuff, I would never have it so perfect as to know exactly what each problem needs in order to be fixed...so I go on towards my 15 hour of work today. Cursed opportunity and heavenly alignment...

15 more minutes.

15 more minutes and I can go back to my hotel and crash for a few hours. You know, it seems bitterly ironic that the people that have control over QA'ing my work and determining if the work should be processed as normal and mailed out or if it should be held under "general exceptions" on the corporate server, have absolutely not one ounce of common sence and as such hold up my production over insainly stupid questions. i.e. "Request held because no request letter scanned with paperwork. Include request letter and rescan" Um... the paperwork that was held was a letter I sent saying, "Please supply us with a proper request letter." I processed that days ago, but now I gotta manualy produce a letter and mail it to them all over again. The indexers at my corporate office are absolute retards. I'm talking "HAM HAM HAM HAM HAM HAM HAM HAM" retards!

Times up.

Ok. It's after 3 o'clock. Cut off. I'd have to say I did pretty darn good. All that being said, I'm still not done yet. I still have untill 4:30 to keep scanning before I can call it a day so.... Hello Doritoes, Vault, and Yorgurt covered pretzles...Yum.

lucky?

I just went to the loading dock to pick up a file cabinet for my office and the head person looked at me and said, "Hey. You want this?" and pointed at a big rolling 3 tier tray table originally used for wheeling food trays around. I said, "Sure." They just wanted to get it out of their Dept so they gave it to me, and I wheeledit back to my office. Its cool to get something for free, but it is pretty big and bulky. I'll just let another dept " borrow" it indefinatly that way I can still claim rights to it....cackle cackle cackle.

WOOT! NIN Tickets!

BAM! Just grabbed some tickets online for the South Carolina leg of the NIN tour. Premo seating. My buddies and I are going to be rockin!

...

... and Cream Savers that the wrappers refuse to completly come off.

Lunch?

Who needs lunch when you have Vault and Chewing gum... duh?
Vrrrrooooooooommmmmm!

I have the Power!

I have tried the new energy soda "Vault" by Coca Cola for the first time today and it has truely given me the power of Greyskull. Thank you Vault. You rock hard! I am almost scared to see what would happen if I mixed it with other volotile substances...like Zinger cakes...mmmm tasty nitro Glycerin.

Close one

Oh nooo's I fixed another copier problem that would have taken a good hour to figure out within seconds! I would normally be more subtle but today everything must get done without delay. I just hope they appreciate the help but don't get any funny ideas.

FLEX!

HAHA! the copier up front has been out of service this whole week, but no one asked for my help and it didn't bother me because I work in a different area with a different copier. Well, finaly someone started wanting to use my copier so I slipped on my super fix-it man cape and walked up front and fixed a wekk long problem in under 2 minutes.

BAM!

I must becareful not to reveal my secret identity or else I would soon be swamped with requests to fix things around the office. Fortunatly, my secret is safe for now.

Sun up

Its kinda wierd sometimes ya know. I am in a windowless room in the basement and have been so all morning but I can tell that the sun is up because I'm waking back up now... ofcorse, I still plan on keeping myself wired all day.

network problems

AAARRRRRGGGG!
I guess the network just can't support my work load. I get everything ready then click the button, and... ... .. . . . .. . ...10 minutes later the network gives me what I asked for. Ok so it was a HUGE request but still....grrr. precious seconds lost. Hopefuly this network will be updated in the near future. At least the lag gave me time to go grab some breakfast since the cafeteria had just opened. Bisquits and gravy... mmmm. would have been a little nicer if the plate hadn't of decided to jump off of my desk but at least it landed mostly on the hard plastic rolling mat for my desk chair. Less gravy but still plenty of mmMMmmm. Energy drink time.

reinforcments!

The snack crackers are down, but I found a roll of Creme Savers in my bag.

Snack crackers and a deadline.

Here I am at work at 3 in the morning on a friday in hopes that I can fix as many problems as possible and get as much work done before 3pm today. An mp3 player and a stack of Lance snack crackers are my only supplies... Wish me luck.

Yo Xibit! Pimp my Hard drive!

Girls with guns.

I would have to say that this has been a most excellent weekend. My buddy John came down to visit his family so I figured I would make the 3 1/2 hour drive to join them, and boy was it worth it. After a night of Justin, John, Steph, and I racing each other on Grand Tourismo 4, we woke up Saturday morning and drove out to some nearby land that was good for fishing and shooting. The fish didn't bite so we stuck mainly to the shooting.

Girls need mad gun skillz too...

Good timing on this picture. Caught the shell casing in mid-air, matrix style. Smoke still coming out the shell and all...

Bro, my pistol is CLEARLY superior to yours...

It was a good hunt.

Oh NOOO's it's....

The Claw!

ok. For the record

Someone wants to know so everybody should know.

500 cc's of liquid =
500 millileters =
just over 1 pint =
just under 17 shots.
Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

Whew

Well, now that that day is over... I can get on with things. I have had some great luck lately! I got a promotion, I was on the VIP list for a singles party, I won concert tickets, and won a little cash on lotto. I'm taking this positive energy and am trying to start my diet back up again. Ya, I kinda fell off my diet which is why I haven't been talking about it lately.
